TRIO The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's TRIO & Pre-College Programs provides quality academic support services to pre-college and postsecondary students. The collaboration and cooperation among the staff ensures that students participate in intervention activities that will lead to an increase in the number of low-income and first-generation college graduates. TRIO and Pre-College Programs supports the educational missions of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, The Milwaukee Idea and the Black and Gold Committee. Eleven academic development programs housed in the unit serve an ethnically diverse youth and adult student population. TRIO and Pre-College Programs contribute in a very meaningful way to the K-16 educational pipeline.
