Community Learning Center – (CLC) – We are in collaboration with Albert E. Kagel School. A Community Learning Center is an after school, evening program that offers fun safe recreational activities for youth as well as:
- academic mentoring
- inter-social developmental activities
- the arts
- cultural activities
- fieldtrips
- sports teams
- other summer programs
 CLC programs increase student achievement and learning, provide alternatives from being home alone, and offer safe haven from unwanted influences. A CLC offers academic achievement such as, homework help, computer assisted learning, tutoring in reading, math and science, middle school proficiencies and high school graduation requirements, building and appreciating friendships, making positive choices, resisting negative peer pressure and practicing non- violent conflict resolution. We offer family support for adult and family education opportunities and job training for economic self-sufficiency. We offer healthy and nutritional snacks, meals, information on hygiene, disease control and healthy lifestyles as well as give access to other community health services.

The Youth Program's initiatives are to educate youth in basic computer literacy and to prepare youth for the teen courses and advanced technical classes. The curriculum consists of lessons in keyboarding, basic computer hardware, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, internet use and educational games and websites. Students will earn a certificate in Adobe Photoshop upon completion of class.
Monday-Thursday 4-5:30pm Open Lab Fridays only 4-6pm
