Fiesta Boricua

On Sunday September 5th, 2004 the Latino Community Center proudly presented FIESTA BORICUA in celebration of Puerto Rican culture, arts and music. The event was held in the Humboldt Park Bandshell. Festivities included an array of various types of Puerto Rican music, folklore, arts and food for the enjoyment of the Puerto Rican culture and Greater Milwaukee Communities. With this festival we will share our culture, our heritage, and our pride in traditions. Through this sharing and the knowledge of our people, other groups will acquire a better understanding of communities in the Milwaukee area.

A caravan of cars and bikes will also celebrated the Puerto Rican culture as well as peace and unity in our community. The caravan started at the Latino Community Center (807 S. 14th Street) at 11am September 5th and ended at Humboldt Park Bandshell by 12 noon.
